Product review: Carman’s Super Seed & Grain crackers
Carman’s Super Seed & Grain crackers have been a favourite healthy snack in my household for a while. Because they are gluten-free, vegan, low in FODMAPs and carbohydrates, they are a great alternative for a variety of people.
Carman’s Super Seed & Grain crackers
Each box contains a re-sealable plastic container with 21 crackers. The suggested serving size is 27g or 7 crackers.
The currently available flavours are Rosemary & Sea Salt, Pepita & Poppy Seed, Seven Seeds & Cracked Pepper.
As mentioned at the top, these crackers are gluten-free, vegan and low-carb. They are also certified low FODMAP by Monash University which means one serve of the crackers is considered low FODMAP as per Monash’s ranges.
Carman’s Super Seed & Grain crackers are available at major supermarkets. They are relatively inexpensive compared to similar products.

Taste test
As mentioned before, these crackers are in our shopping list every week. My husband eats them at work. He prefers the rosemary & sea salt flavour, I like all of them. They have a great taste and texture, they don’t crumble as much as other crackers. They are sturdy enough to handle pâté and thick dips and also go great with cheese, tomato slices, etc.
Summary and recommendations
These crackers are a great snack to keep in your pantry especially if you are following a gluten-free, vegan, low FODMAP and/or low carb diet. I would also recommend these for people who have blood sugar regulation issues due to their low carbohydrate and sugar content, and their high fibre content. Keep in mind that these crackers are more energy dense than other crackers, so stick to the recommended serve if you need to watch your energy intake, especially if having them with cheese, dips or spreads.
